This game is a 2D puzzle platformer with a small twist... the world isn't truly 2D! Explore the possibilities of traversing a 2D environment with multiple layers you can move into! Solve puzzles, overcome challenges and more in Divemensions!

--Overview--
In this game you have a the power to go deeper into the third dimension, one that is very confusing for our little 2D protagonist, and with this power you can solve the puzzles found in this strange world, are you up to the challenge?
Go through 12 levels with new mechanics being introduced every 4 levels, and as an optional challenge you can try to get all 12 Stars, from all levels.
--Controls--
-Playing-
- Move with A and D, Left and Right Arrow keys, Gamepad Joystick or D-Pad.
- Jump with Space or Gamepad South and East Face buttons.
- Switch between Depth levels with W and S, Up and Down Arrow Keys, Gamepad Joystick or D-Pad.
- Rotate the camera with Shift or Gamepad Triggers.
-Making-
- Use either the mouse or control the cursor with the left joystick of your gamepad of choice to move around, select options and edit the map.
- Press D or the West Face Button for a shortcut for the eraser.
- Move the camera with the arrow keys or the right joystick.
- Reset the view to keep editing with space or by pressing the right joystick button.

This game was originally made for the Brackeys Gamejam 2023.2. Obtaining rank 8 in Game Design and rank 10 in Innovation!
Original Models, textures, sprites, sound effects, music and code were made during the jam.

The concept is very cool and I really liked the art direction.
It's pretty easy, which is good for feeling smart

We plan on expanding the game with lots of new and harder levels, and adding a way of playing community levels will allow for anyone to create their own levels with their preferred level of difficulty, I hope you check out the eventual final version!
cool art game but it took me a long time to understand how many layers there are in eatch level, and character control feel not so responding to me. but good job
Thank you! We would like to teach the layers more clearly, focusing on the fact that each color represents one layer, and we will try to fix issues with the player if we find them!
